I've seen a recurring theme over the past 10 years. It happens THIS week. Parents call and are worried about tryouts. They worry that their child is NOT prepared yet. Guess what - it's too late. Here's why. "Training" for the next month or so won't cut it. This is why our program ONLY works with players long-term so they are technically and mentally prepared for tryouts when May roll's around. There's a reason why our players have had such a high success rate...it's because they were committed since day 1. On the flip-side, I would say that most players out there are UNCOMFORTABLE during tryouts. They are terrified of making that "one mistake" that will get them cut. In fact, every year (the last 10 years) I've attended tryouts...and like clock-work the players who are prepared end up THRIVING in tryouts. The players who aren't prepared...well we know what happens. Player development takes time. You can't develop overnight. It takes time. Those are are willing to put in the time will see the results. If you are a committed parent reading this, I'd love to have a 1-on-1 chat with you this week.
